  • More than Half Way Through

This week’s learning theory is Andragogy.  The term “Andragogy” in Greek means man-leading in comparison to pedagogy, which in Greek means child-leading.  For more information, go to my Andragogy page.

  • The Journey Continues…

This week’s learning theory is Cognitivism.  Cognitivism focuses on the processes involved in learning rather than on the observed behavior. Cognitivists do not require an outward exhibition of learning, but focus more on the internal processes and connections that take place during learning.  Check out my page on Cognitivism and Connectivism for more information on these learning theories.

  • Week Three of My Journey

It’s Week Three of my journey through the “Instructional Design and Technology: Learning Theories” course.  This week the focus is on Constructivism.  For more information on this week’s topic, check out my Constructivism page.  Please come back next week to discover more about the learning theories!

  • It’s Week Two!

This is Week Two of the “Instructional Design and Technology: Learning Theories” course. Behaviorism is the first learning theory that we will examine.  Check out my Behaviorism page to learn more on this topic.  Please return next week for more on the learning theories.
